A5.The online classes are conducted through Google meet .Our virtual learning platform will also be ready shortly. Once you enroll in the course, you will receive login credentials to access our live interactive classes. Can you try a class before enrolling at Aart Sense Academy?

You can’t take a free trial class, but you can book two paid single trial sessions once to see how our teaching works. If you decide to continue, you’ll need to choose a regular course, which starts at four classes per month of 30 minutes each. This gives you a chance to experience the class before you commit to a longer plan.

Q11. Can I be expelled from the academy or stop receiving classes if I don't practice or show improvement?

A11.Yes, your progress is monitored regularly. If the academy observes a lack of improvement in your singing due to insufficient practice or other reasons, the management reserves the right to expel you from the academy. Whether to continue providing lessons or to cease them will be at the sole discretion of the management.

Q13. Am I supposed to have an instrument like a harmonium, Casio?

A13.Not necessarily. We prefer students to learn the basics with the help of a tanpura from the beginning which can be downloaded on their phone/tablet/laptop from YouTube. However, having an instrument like a small Synthesizer (Casio)/Harmonium can be beneficial for practicing at home. It allows you to cross-check whether you are singing the right notes or not, especially when the teacher is not present.

Q14. Will the Academy assist me if I am interested in taking exams through institutions like Gandharva, Bhakhande, or Prayag?

Q16. When am I supposed to pay the fee for online classes? Can I pay it after completing my session of the opted course?

A18. Yes, we do provide notations to students for practicing when they reach a stage where they require it. Additionally, we recommend watching related YouTube videos on Aart Sense Academy's Official YouTube Channel where they get notations and recordings, pertaining to the particular class at no price upto 1st 40 lessons. From 41 lessons onwards they can pay the subscription and watch it.

A19. While the primary focus of the course is on learning and honing your singing abilities, there may be periodic assessments or evaluations to monitor your progress. However, these assessments will be conducted in a supportive and encouraging manner.

A20.Yes, absolutely! You can learn singing virtually with us. We schedule classes while considering the time difference between India and your particular country. This ensures that classes are convenient for you regardless of your location.

Q21. Will my solo class be adjusted or get expired if I miss the class due to an emergency?

A21.The adjustment of classes in online solo courses will be determined by the management and dependent on slot availability. Students are encouraged to inform the management well in advance if they are unable to attend due to an emergency. Classes may be adjusted depending on the availability of slot in the same month only preferably in the same week as we advice our students to take minimum one class per week to avoid long gaps in their classes and to maintain the continuity in their learning process, but if the slot is not available then class adjustment will not be possible

A22. The adjustment of classes in online group courses will be determined by the management and dependent on slot availability. Students are encouraged to inform the management in advance if they are unable to attend due to an emergency. Classes may be adjusted until students' scales and pitch are assessed, and groups with similar characteristics are formed, provided that advanced notice is given. Once a group is established, missed classes will not be adjusted.

Q23. How many students will be there in a group class, and will it be a 30 minutes duration class?

A23.In a group class, there will be a maximum of four to five students. Initially, individual solo classes of 30 minutes will be provided until a group of students with similar talent and scale is formed. Once the group is established, the class duration will be extended to 45 minutes, regardless of the number of students, up to a maximum of five.

Should you choose a group class or a solo class at Aart Sense Academy?

If you want more personal attention, solo classes are the better choice. If you want a more budget-friendly option, group classes may suit you better. Current options include: online solo classes with 4 classes per month at 30, 45, or 60 minutes for Rs. 6,000, Rs. 9,000, or Rs. 12,000; online group classes with 4 classes per month at 30 minutes each for Rs. 3,000; offline solo classes with 4 classes per month at 30 minutes each for Rs. 6,000; and kids’ group classes with 8 classes per month at 45 minutes each for Rs. 3,000. If you are unsure, choose the format that matches your budget and how much individual guidance you want. 🎶

Q26. I stay abroad and can understand and speak hindi language, but can’t read and write, can i  still join Aart Sense Academy online classes for learning Hindustani Classical

A27.Yes, you can definitely join our online Hindustani Classical classes from anywhere in the world.
 Since you stay abroad and can speak and understand Hindi but cannot read or write it, we make it easy for you and  provide all notations for practice in Hinglish (Hindi written in English letters).
For example, instead of Hindi script, you will receive notations like:
SA RE GA MA PA DH NE SA
 This way, you can follow the lessons smoothly and continue your learning without any difficulty.

Q27. There are many course options available, and I am confused. Which one should I choose?

A.27 The choice depends on your personal learning goals, time commitment, and budget. If you are confident and comfortable with the fee structure, we recommend starting with our 4-classes-per-month course, where each session is 30 minutes once a week. This is a balanced and effective pace for most learners. As you progress, you can always upgrade to a plan with more classes per month if you wish to learn faster or require additional practice.

Q28. How can I upload my MP3 audio clip during registration? How should I do it?

Accepted Answer

A28. After filling in all the required details on the registration form, click on the “Upload Voice Sample” button. Then, select your MP3 audio file from your phone or desktop and upload it. Once the file is successfully uploaded, a cross (×) symbol will appear on the upload button — this indicates that your file has been uploaded. You can click the cross if you wish to remove or replace the uploaded file.

Q29. I’m unable to upload my audio clip as a voice sample. After the upload process, there’s no status or confirmation showing whether the file was successfully uploaded.

A29. You’ll be able to upload your voice sample only after you’ve filled out the complete form. Make sure your file is in an audio format. Once the upload is done, you’ll see a small cross (×) mark that means your audio has been uploaded successfully.
If you want to change it later, just click on the cross (×) to delete it and upload a new audio clip.

Q30. Do I get any benfit or expect some discount if I pay the fee for one year in one go?

Accepted Answer

A30. Yes you do but not directly .Many of our students living abroad choose to pay for one or even two years in advance. This helps them save on repeated transaction fees and currency-conversion charges. They also receive the benefit of fee protection—even if our fee increases during that period, they continue their sessions at the same fee they originally booked.

This advantage of accepting fee by the Academy in one go itself serves as a meaningful discount for them.

Q31.  Will I be prepared for an exam through Gandharva or other University’s?

Accepted Answer

A31. Although the syllabus at Aart Sense Academy aligns with the requirements of Prayag, Gandharva Mahavidyalaya, Bhatkhande, and Pracheen Kala Kendra, students must prepare the theory portion independently as per their chosen board. This is a personal choice.

Since singing is a performing art, we’ve observed that even students who already hold 1st year, 2nd year, or even Visharad certificates sometimes struggle with basic concepts like control over SA. For this reason, we never push students to pursue degrees just for formality.

Our focus is on strong concepts, regular Riyaz, and confident performance—not collecting certificates.

However, if a student is progressing well, understands the lessons thoroughly, and wishes to take formal exams for self-satisfaction or for school teaching applications, they are free to do so.

The Academy will provide addresses of the examination bodies and guide them on where to apply, but the entire application and examination process (form filling, choosing centers, appearing for exams) must be handled by the students themselves.

Q32. Is it advisable to join online group classes or solo classes?

Accepted Answer

A.Yes, online group classes are advisable as they are more cost-effective. However, group classes are recommended only when at least two members of the same familyor same location wish to join together. This is subject to the following conditions:
Both      students must sit together and use the same device      during the session for smooth coordination.
Both      students should preferably have the same singing scale, so      the 30-minute session can be effectively utilized and both learners      receive maximum benefit.
If students join from different locations or have different scales, it      may cause coordination issues, variations in internet speed, and delays in   joining the class—resulting in disturbance to the session.
If these conditions are not met, solo classes are recommended for better, personalized progress.

A.34 Yes! All students get access to the first 40 recorded lessons at no price.

From Lesson 41 onward, lessons are available through a paid subscription.

Q35. The registration form is not allowing me to submit the form without uploading an audio clip. Can I speak something and make an audio clip to submit it?

A35. Yes, you can upload an audio clip even if you just speak something, and the form will allow you to submit. However, it is recommended that you sing one or two lines of any song or sargam, even if you are not formally trained. Since you are applying for singing classes, uploading a singing audio clip is beneficial as it helps the teacher understand your current level and design the classes accordingly.

Q36. Is there an option for offline Casio or singing classes for kids below 10 years of age?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we have recently introduced singing and Casio classes for kids. The course includes 4 classes per month, with each class lasting 30–45 minutes per week.
For completely raw or beginner students, we initially offer 30-minute classes when there is only one student in the batch. As soon as a second student (or more students of the same level) joins the group, the class duration is increased to 45 minutes per session.
